Hunters Harbor is a water oriented community that includes a private swimming beach, fishing pier, boat ramp, playground, and a pavilion. There is also a private marina co-owned by the Hunters Harbor and Sillery Bay Boat Club with deep water slips and a separate boat ramp.

The community is comprised of just over 100 residential homes, a mix of rancher, split foyer and colonial styles. Situated along the Magothy River with views of Gibson Island.

Conveniently located near Downs Park, which features a new state-of-the-art playground, fishing pier, dog beach, concert pavilion, and miles of walking trails with spectacular views of the Chesapeake Bay.

Part of the Anne Arundel County school district, which includes Bodkin Elementary, Chesapeake Bay Middle, and Chesapeake High School.

Hunters Harbor community does not have a Home Owners Association, but it is part of a Special Tax District with an annual fee of $225. There is a separate cost to join the Boat Club and slips are available on a first-come first-served basis.
